Celtic have completed the club-record signing of Danish striker Kasper Hogh, with the prolific forward declaring the Scottish champions are a “really good match” for him after sealing his move from Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.
The 25-year-old joins Brendan Rodgers’ side for a reported £11 million, becoming Celtic’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of Camilo Duran.
Hogh has signed a four-year contract, with the club holding the option to extend his stay by a further 12 months.

His form also caught the eye in Europe, where he netted five goals in last season’s UEFA Champions League.
Celtic supporters will hope Hogh can quickly fill the attacking void following the departure of Japan international Daizen Maeda to Ipswich Town.
Speaking after completing his move, Hogh admitted he was thrilled to become a Celtic player and revealed discussions with his family convinced him Parkhead was the right destination.
“I’m so happy,” Hogh told Celtic TV. “When I came into the room and saw the shirt, I was really excited.
“The history of the club is so big. I spoke with some people and with my family about the club.
“The feeling they had, and the feeling I had in my stomach, was that this was a really good match.”
Hogh described himself as a hard-working striker who thrives inside the penalty area but is equally committed to helping his team without the ball.”
I like to be in the box and score goals, but I also want to help my team-mates defensively and work hard for the team.”I’ve trained throughout the summer and I’ve already played league games in Norway, so I feel ready. I just want to get started and be thrown into the fire.”
With proven goalscoring ability, European experience and match fitness already under his belt, Hogh will be expected to make an immediate impact as Celtic look to defend their Scottish Premiership title and challenge in European competition once again.
